My name is J.D. Gonzalez. I currently live in the Austin, Texas area with my wife, 4 year old and two cats Sasha and Tori.
I am a classically trained musician from the University of Texas at Austin. I have a small collection of instruments that I play almost everyday. I own a soprano sax, trombone, cornet, flute. But my favorite has to be my trumpet. I don't have what it takes to play professionally, but it helps me relax.
I also enjoy photography; a hobby I don't get to enjoy too often. I do try to take my camera with me as much as possible. I shoot with a Minolta 5D. The thing is built like a tank and still works great! I may make the jump to Sony. We'll have to wait to see what happens with that.
Automobiles are my passion. I'm a little intimidated to work on them so I've made it a goal to work on my car this year. I won't be doing the major stuff just maintenance. I currently own a 91 Miata. It's got its own set of quirks but I don't think I could ever get rid of it.
My professional passion is technology. I received my Masters degree in Computer Information Systems from St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas. I'm currently a Database Administrator for Quantum Digital, Inc. During my professional career, I've had the pleasure of working for at&t, Dell, and various smaller companies.
